Arrival at Cairo
airport, assistance during entry visa formalities.
Transfer and overnight in the hotel in Cairo. |

Day 2 : |
Cairo - Bahariya
Oasis - White desert |
|

Vist of the Black
Desert and the dune area. We start our climb of a
50meter dune. Lunch in El Heiz Oasis. On the route to
Farafra we visit the Crystal Mountain, the area of the
wonders with the desert roses. We visit El Akabat and
then we head to the White Desert. We start exploring the
formations and wind carved sculptor. Then the New
Desert. In the evening, we have a barbeque dinner and
sleep in tents under the stars.. |

Day 3 : |
White desert -
Dakhla |

After breakfast we
set out on our way to Dakhla , we visit the Old Covered
City with its oil press, school, Courthouse and dwelling
chambers, Muzzawaka & Deir El Hagar, have lunch, dinner
and overnight in the Hotel. |

Day 4 : |
Sugar Loaf
– Mud Lions |

Pick up the
military escort in the morning and head tolast check
point, then leave the paved road towardsSugar Loaf, a
spectacular rock formation.Continue towards Yardangs
formation site or Mud li-ons which is an ancient lake
site, after it was dry, thefauna left fossilized in the
playa sediment had formedin the shape of sea lions in
the direction of the wind,giving a spectacular landscape
view |

Day 5 : |
Central Gilf
Kebir |

Driving west
towards the Gilf Kebir, crossing WadiMashi dunes and
continue towards the Gap that splitsthe Gilf Kebir for
two parts, this is a remarkable areawith beautiful
landscape scenery where the Sand Seadunes are breaking
and surmounting the Gilf Kebirplateaux. Will have our
camp near the complex dunesof wadi assib |

Day 6 : |
Aqaba pass – Wadi
Sura |

From Central Gilf
we will descend theAqaba Pass towards the plain to
thewest, driving along the western cliffs ofthe Gilf
that rises about 300 m.First wevisit Swimmers Cave
discovered byAlmasy in1933. Then visit
theMestqawe-Foggini cave discovered in2002 with the
richest assembly of rockart drawings and engravings in
the whole of Egypt, Some travellers consider this caveto
be the “Sistine Chapel “(Vatican – Rome) of the African
rock art. Later camp in aspectacular area where the
rocks were shaped like domes |

Day 7 : |
Wadi Abd Al Malik |

We leave Wadi Sura
camp anddrive along the western side ofthe Gilf towards
Wadi abd alMalik,on the way we stop at KebiraCrater; a
very large crater thatwas observed by satellite
imagesand thought maybe connected tothe formation of the
Silica Glassfield! Wadi abd al malik is the valley with
acacia trees that Almasy spotted from theaeroplane and
believed it to be one of three valleys of the lost oasis
of zerzura. Camp inwadi abd al malik. |

Drive through Wadi
el Gubba Leaving the Gilfbehind we will enter the area
of southern Sand Seawhere the giant dunes block any
passage to east orwest. We will drive in between the
dunes to asuitable camping area. Spend the afternoon
exploringthe Silica Glass and the stone tools. |

Day 9 : |
Great Sand Sea |

Continue driving
North in the corridors of Sand Sea,searching for
Fulgurites; which looks like glass tubes,at a suitable
point we will head east to start crossingthe dunes
towards Ain Dalla then Camp in central sandsea |

Day 10 : |
Ain Dalla - White
Desert |

Continue crossing
the Sand Sea, navigating the dunes and thesoft sand
areas towards Ain Dalla track where we continue on
thetrack to the white desert.Our last camp will be in
the white desert |

transfer back to the hotel in Cairo |
