you will visit the Egyptian Museum. Lunch at a local
restaurant. After lunch, visit the pyramids and the

Visit of Saqqara in
the morning. After lunch, visit the Citadel of Saladin

On the way from
Cairo to Alexandria we visit the monastery Surijan, one
of the oldest Christian monasteries in Wadi Natrun.

Alexandria - Cairo |

| |
Sightseeing in
Alexandria, and visiting the Greco-Roman Museum, the
Roman catacombs, the Pompey-pillar and the fort Kait Bey.

Day 6 : |
Fayum

| |
Today, our trip
goes to oasis Fayum, about 100 km southwest of Cairo.
Visit the nature reserve "Wadi El Rayan" tour of the
village of El Fayoum. Then visit the temple Karanis and
the pyramid of Hauwara and Meidum. Night in a hotel in
Fayum. |

Minya -
Beni Hassan |

| |
Today we continue
to Minya and visit the famous rock tombs of Beni Hassan.

Day 8 : |
Tell El
Amarna |

After breakfast
drive to Tell el Amarna, the new capital of Echnaton,
trip to Tuna el-Gebel and visit the tomb of Petosiris
Temple and the ruins of Hermopolis. Night in a hotel in
Minya. |

Day 9 : |
Abydos -
Dendera - Luxor |

| |
On the way to Luxor
we visit the Abydos temple Seti I. Then we continue to
Dendera, the Ptolemaic temple to the love goddess Hathor.
After lunch we reach Luxor. Overnight in a hotel in
Luxor. |

Luxor

After breakfast we
visit the impressive Valley of the Kings. In addition,
you will see the impressive terraced temple of Queen
Hatshepsut and the Memnon-columns. After lunch we visit
the Temple of Karnak and Luxor. Overnight in a hotel in
Luxor. Evening - Optional - Visit the sound and light
show at the Karnak Temple. |

Edfu -
Kom Ombo - Aswan |

After breakfast we
visit the temple of the sun god Horus in Edfu. Then
continue to Kom Ombo. Here you will visit the impressive
Temple of God Sobek. In the evening we reach Aswan.
Night in a hotel in Aswan. |

| |
With a boat we will
reach the island of Agilkia where we will visit the
Philae Temple of the goddess Isis. Then you will see the
Aswan Dam and the unfinished obelisk. After lunch a
romantic ride on a felucca on the Nile. Night in a hotel
in Aswan.

Aswan -
Abu Simbel - Cairo |

Today you have the
choice: Visit the lively souk of Aswan, or take part to
an optional excursion to Abu Simbel. Transfer to Aswan
train station and return by sleeping train to Cairo.

Day 14 : |
Cairo -
White Desert |
|
| |
In the morning we
leave in the direction of the desert towards the
Bahariya oasis. Lunch at Minamar Hotel. Excursion by
Jeep 4x4 in the White Desert. On the way we pass through
the Black Desert, Agabat and the Crystal Mountain.
Barbeque dinner and night in tents in the desert. |
