Tour Itinerary :
Day 1 - Welcome to Jerusalem
Check in to the deluxe Inbal Hotel, close to the landmarks of the Old City.
Day 2 - Excursion to Masada & Bethlehem
Ascend by cable car to the hilltop ruins of Masada, where you’ll be riveted as your private guide recounts the heroic tale of its brave inhabitants. Continue to Bethlehem to visit the Church of the Nativity and return to Jerusalem. (B)
Day 3 - Explore Jerusalem with your private guide
Full-day sightseeing includes the Temple Mount, Western Wall and Mount of Olives. Walk along the Via Dolorosa and tour the Davidson Center, where advanced visualization technology reveals the city’s glorious past. (B)
Day 4 - From Jerusalem to Jordan
Journey north with your private car and guide through the Galilee, where we'll stop to see the beautiful mosaic floors of a 6th century synagogue, colorful and splendidly preserved. Then visit the Roman ruins at Beit Shean and cross into Jordan at the Sheikh Hussein Bridge. Enjoy two fabulous nights at the luxurious Kempinski Ishtar Dead Sea Resort. (B)
Day 5 - Legendary sites of Antiquity
Extensive private car sightseeing begins in Amman. Ascend the ancient citadel and visit the Roman amphitheater built during the reign of Marcus Aurelius. Then explore with your personal guide through the extensive ruins of Jerash, the best-preserved ancient Roman provincial city in the world. (B)
Day 6 - On the King’s Way to Petra
Journey south to Madaba to marvel at extraordinary Byzantine mosaics, amazingly preserved. Visit Mt. Nebo, traditional burial site of Moses, and continue along the King’s Way to Petra. Check-in and relax at the deluxe Mövenpick Hotel, located directly at the entrance to this historic site. (B)
Day 7 - Venture into the Lost City Petra
The ancient city of Petra, wondrously preserved, is carved into the sides of a deep gorge, the entrance through a narrow opening called the Siq. As you enter this legendary ‘Lost City’ from between the 100-foot cliffs, a breathtaking vista unfolds: Temples, tombs, and dwellings chiseled out of the rose-hued stone. Your expert private guide will bring to life these ancient stones and the great civilization that thrived here. (B)
Day 8 - Into the landscapes of Lawrence of Arabia
Journey into the haunting desert landscapes of Wadi Rum. Explore by jeep in this remote region, where sandstone and granite mountains rise, sheer-sided, from wide sandy valleys to reach heights of 4,000 feet and more. Continue on to Amman and the airport to check in for your flight to Cairo. (B)
Days 9 to 10 - Cairo
Accompanied by your own personal Egyptologist, explore all the major sites of Cairo, including the Great Pyramids, Sphinx, Old Cairo and the Egyptian Museum of Antiquites. (B)
Day 11 - Depart Egypt
Transfer to the airport for your flight home. (B).
