Badawiya Hotel is a traditional mud brick building with all the
modern comforts, situated at the entry to the Farafra Oasis.
The 22 tastefully decorated guest rooms frame a picturesque
courtyard.
You can look forward to double rooms with a living area arranged in
the style of the Bedouins, bed in the gallery or downstairs,
mosquito net, fan and bathroom. On the rooftop terrace, enjoy the
local cuisine
Location:
The
road between Bahariya and Farafra was paved in 1978. Before that
there was only the caravan route, the camel trail.
Farafra is the smallest oasis in Egypt and the most isolated; it is
closer to Libya than to the Nile Valley. By drilling new wells, the
agricultural area is being expanded and nowadays the oasis produces
more than its own needs and 'exports' dates, olives, apricots, beans
and rice to Cairo and the Nile Valley
Rooms:
Badawiya Hotel offers you comfortable accommodation, great for relaxing both during the day and after a day of activity.
