Sofitel New Cataract hotel Aswan
The New Cataract Hotel was built in 1961.
The hotel is a modern high-rise structure, contrasting dramatically
with the traditional architectural style of its sister hotel. It is
very 1960s in appearance.
Location:
This hotel is located within the gardens of the Old Cataract and has the advantage of sharing many of the Old Cataract's facilities. However, the standard, although acceptable, is considerably lower and the properties should not be confused.
